Now, has anyone here used paypal for its subscription based payments.

I'm looking for a way to manage subs to a service. I want to be able to stop access to the service automatically, if their subscription is not valid.

I tried this in paypal, but the way that i check their status flummoxed me. if anyone could lend a hand has to how to get this done in php, with paypal, or suggest another way i can check if a subscriber to a service is actually paying, then i'd be most grateful.
