what psp works well with ISC
  • March 2011
Hi all, i know the what psp is best has been asked before but i would like to know what you all use, especialy for big commerce.

Our main site still on actinic is useing actinic payments,

I have sagepay on our second site but i am fed up with problems over the last 6 months. The worst of it is that since last OCT all our transactions have failed the 3d secure part. Sagepay have informed me there is an issue with there software using the correct keys to to talk to HSBC who are our merchant bank.

They just seem unable to fix it, it all worked weel for many years until 6 months ago. Anyway i dont want to wate anymore time with them.

Can anyone recommend a decent psp.
    thanks

theres seems to be lotsof poor intergration with ISC
we currently use sagepay but shocking service

paypoint looks good but not intergrated with ISC properly

What was wrong with HSBC, we use HSBC as our merchant account.

Paypall is too expensive for rates for us. We only selllow value items about £2 a go.

SagePay just seem to be stumbling from one problem to another. Didn't even get the e-mail of apology from Simon Black after the last lot of downtime!

If I remember correctly ISC/BigCommerce have Secure Trading as an PSP option? I know someone who uses them for 4 of their websites (not ISC/BC) and in the 3 years they have been using them they have not had one single period of downtime which is quiet impressive.

the address details are not passed from ISC to HSBC e-payments which mean no fraud detection... very very poor

i had a look into this in the past but never found time to have a go and amend the details that are passed over

This error is sometimes caused by an incorrect encryption password. The crypt field cannot be decoded and the fail url cannot be extracted to send the failed transaction back.

check for case sensitivity and errors like 'zero' and 'capital O'
