    One of our products (chosen pretty much at random) is:

    http://www.aquazuro.co.uk/acatalog/Wedo_door_chock.html

    The page title is:

    " Blomus Wedo door chock - stainless and rubber"

    (the spaces at the beginning come from Act*n*c, as the only way we could get rid of the company name at the beginning, short of using a custom variable, was to put a space in Business Settings).

    If you Google the page title, the product doesn't appear at all in the SERPs, even though only about 3 companies sell it, but it does appear (at #1) if you just Google "wedo door chock".

    Is this weird or have I missed something? :confused:

    You're losing your marbles...

    When I google "Blomus Wedo door chock - stainless and rubber" I get you at number 1. When I google " Blomus Wedo door chock - stainless and rubber" I still get you at number one. I must admit 'chock' is a new one for me though.

    The only thing I find worrying is that I don't find any listing of this product on Google Shopping from your company - why don't you use this sales avenue?

    Nope, still not there, see attached :confused::confused:

    It is on Google Shopping, but not described as the Wedo (and it's a door wedge there..........:D)

    Make sure you're not logged into Google when you search, you won't see the results like the rest of us do.

    Your #12 for .co.uk Google searches, and #1 for .com Google searches.

    It's also strange why the .co.uk it's not showing the page in question.

    Try removing that space at the begining, by replacing the title tag with this bit of code

    <actinic:block php=\"true\">
    $trimmedTitle = trim(\"<actinic:variable name=\"PageTitle\" />\");
    echo(\"<title>$trimmedTitle</title>\");
    </actinic:block>

    See if it makes a difference.

    P.S. Is there any reason why you are on a German server?

    Thanks Chunkford.

    The #12 (#11?) you mention is the main section page that has the product thumbnail on it, the product page itself still doesn't appear. The link to the .com version just resolves to the UK version on my PC:(

    Thanks for the tip on the title, we'll try that.

    We're with 1&1. The party line on the other forum has been for some time that it doesn't matter if you're with 1&1 as long as you're using a .co.uk, but that you might have problems if you're using a .com. Makes you wonder though......

    It's all changed - google.co.uk you are #1 and google.com you are #41

    If you want to see the .com results goto www.google.co.uk, and underneath the search box click 'Go to Google.com'

    I see it at #1 now for the first time, what is going on?

    Glad to see that this thread is already now at #8, wish it was that easy when we're trying to sell stuff......:D

    It could have been pure chance that you looked when Googles datacentres where having a re shuffle.
    But keep an eye on it. If your using Firefox then this plugin will help you.

    Further to this, I think i've found out whats up with the results Mark. (and BTW it's changed again)

    I've just read about the 'Mayday' changes, and sounds like what you're experiencing.
