Where's the Android love!?

I'm in the market for a new phone, but as i normally do i ummm and arrrr over what's the best thing to get (way too much sometimes).
I really want to get either a HTC desire or the Google Nexus One, but every single time i look around on the net at various online apps/services, i see "iphone app coming soon!" or "download our free iphone app".

WHERE'S THE - "ANDROID APP COMING SOON!" or "DOWNLOAD OUR FREE ANDROID APP"

Now i know the iphone is the 'No.1 phone', and is loved by millions, but come on, where's the love for Android? more importantly the freedom in choice that seems to be ripped away by Apple and has a vigorous brain washing program put in its place.

I am now pondering whether or not to wait for the iphone 4 to come out. I don't particularly want to get an iphone (There's something about apples business practices i don't like) but if it means it will improve my work flow then so be it :curse:

I went for a Blackberry Bold 9700 a few weeks ago and it has to be one of the best decisions i've ever made, really pleased with it.

Yea, they keep coming up in the decision process. Maybe i should of said "Where's the Android and RIM and Symbian Love!?"

It does not matter to me what apps are for the iphone. I will never have one because I don't agree with their app store.

I'm not settling for second best with the HTC Hero though. I feel its a better way of doing things.

Not everyone is compatible with smartphones though. some just like the fact that phones make calls. :)
