Hello All.

I found this an amazing piece of software and it works! This ain't a spam post, I am just incredibly relieved after being pissed off for so long because of this missing driver problem.

We couldn't find any Graphics drivers for XP anywhere - literally been hunting for weeks and was told by AMD that the drivers would be included in ATI Catalyst 10.3 for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 (HD 5400 series) - they most certainly were not.

I found this was not the case, as such, but have tweaked the drivers for the Asus K42JR, which uses the same graphics chipset and a very similar build all round - so now, we have a laptop with working drivers, no more 1024x768! :D

I have frequented so many forums trying to piece together all the required drivers and now have them all, except PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller, which I have identified but never found a driver that will actually install properly; FML.

So anyway, as this is a forum which I already have an account on...I'll post the Acer Aspire 5740G ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Windows XP drivers as an attachment. I have these drivers working running Windows XP Pro SP3 and they work on all supported resolutions and allow Modern Warfare 2 to be played, without any non-limiting GPU problems. These drivers come with no warranty, neither expressed nor implied. If your notebook screws up; fix it.

This means if others (and I know others are looking!) want the drivers, they will have to sign up, so we get some new members. Be nice to 'em, I know they're frustrated.
