Actinic to Prestashop Inporter

    So, I wrote one, and its looking good. It imports sections, with appropriate images, and products, with what looks like all data intact.

    epic win.

    i'll make a google code page for it and open it up shortly, so you furious code monsters can have a crack.

    As yet, nobody has cracked the export/import of Actinic variations into another cart, which begs the question:- Who made all the ugly stuff? :curse:

    It came from OS Commerce as far as I know

    I spent a couple of hours going through Prestashop today...I like it :thumbsup:

    I haven't tried out variations, which is the make or break for us, but certainly going to give it a go, test site installation here I come

    The most serious problem with prestashop for me is the fact that orders cannot really be edited. IF someone orders 3 items and then calls up to cancel one, they CANT. I cannot find a way to remove single items, or edit the items that exist.

    This is a bit of a shit.

    What i DO like about presta, is the theme engine, which uses smarty. :)

    Like a phoenix, Prestashop is reborn. The latest versions support some of the things I was missing last time.

    Prestashop does look the biz, but not too keen on when you pay. Really don't like it when you have to login or create an account.
    The new beta version of CubeCart addresses this well tho and should be adopted by all.

    Its had not a lot of changes.

    The only feature its really missing that is worth anything is permutations and choices support. 

    Its not something i need right now, but if somebody were to raise some sort of interest for it, or a bounty then i'd finish. I know how it would work, I just cant find sufficient interest just now.
