From what i can understand if you take a photo of something on your mobile phone, it will match it in a database and display interactive content associated with it. So for example if you took a photo of a business logo, the app will match it within a database a display extra info like displaying opening hours, any coupons, directions to the shop from your current location, or if it's an event you can purchase tickets, or if it's a restaurant show you reviews, or if its a film poster and show you ratings and the nearest showing.... my mind is boggling at the possibilities.
Don't know what the prices are, but are based on the number of link activated. They say users just pay their standard rate with the service provider for data transfer on their phones. So technically free
