    I stumbled across this and am intending to try it this weekend but thought i would share it. http://www.gfi.com/backup-hm

    i currently use cobian backup for most of my stuff that schedules full and incremental backups which are backed up to my NAS via ftp connections

    but thought this looked good

    Did you get round to using the software Darren?
    Just looking through the features and it seems impressive

    LOL i had pretty much forgotten about this and ermm no i have not tried it.

    If im honest my home nas uses the buffalo software that came with it. and the work one i dont run any backups to it, the nas is were all the documents and spreadsheets are automatically stored by everyone in ms office.

    The only other back up is tape on the nix server

    i looked at these when i had a freecom drive (piece of shit and never buy another) but when i brought the linkstation, which runs with various raid configurations, the software is pretty good so never found the need look further
